I think I would go back and apologize to myself as a child so that I wouldn't carry around such a boatload of self esteem issues stemming from being abused. I would tell myself that it wasn't my fault, the people who hurt me were sick, and that I was a good kid, and that it would eventually be all right.

Simply put, "Thank you for showing me exactly what NOT to do in the classroom. Now I know what kind of teacher I should be, because it will be the opposite of everything you've done this quarter."

Oh that's easy, chocolate, all kinds of chocolate, spicy, bacon wrapped, various other foods dipped in chocolate, just chocolate, a constant supply of chocolate.

I would buy a "get out of debt" card, pure and simple. Yes, that's what I would buy, a card that relieves me of all of my debt, student loans, credit cards, everything.

My complete lack of being able to shut the hell up about anything! I would love to not over share ever again, but alas, it's just not meant to be.

I think it's a combination of standarized testing, and performance based assessments that correctly measure a student's knowledge or ability. The ideal measure of a student's knowledge or ability would be a test that makes students use critical thinking skills, show their work, and use recall skills. But, as most teachers know, there is no such test, darn it. Ideally though, education should be moving away from a "test and results" focus and more toward actually focusing on their students, and preparing them for the real world versus preparing them on how to take a test.

Oh dear GOD yes! I am absolutely the year of the goat, dramatic, silly, sensitive, and artistic (at least in my own mind.) It fits, it fits in every way, just like I'm a perfect Sagittarius (and not in the good way.)
